A priority in the supervision process is accountability for client care and safety within the parameters and ethical standards of the counseling profession.
Mary Jane realizes healthy communication is imperative for creating a supervision alliance that meets the needs of the supervisee. Her emphasis is on the facilitative conditions advocated by Carl Rogers and the person-centered approach to supervision assists with developing a positive relationship with her supervisees. She believes if the relationship is one of trust, mentorship, and openness, along with a level of respective reciprocity, her supervisees feel secure and grounded allowing for growth.
Mary Jane provides clinical supervision for LCAS, CADC, and CCI through weekly groups. LCMHC-S supervision is scheduled on an individual basis.
